Michael Cullen Returns to SEAT Supercup Ireland

SEAT Supercup Ireland is delighted to welcome Michael Cullen back to the championship for the upcoming round at Mondello Park on Sunday, June 7th.

Michael will join forces with Morgan Dempsey’s MCP team for his return to the grid and is currently planning to contest at least three rounds of the 2026 championship, including the Knockhill (UK) event on July 11th/12th and Anglesey (UK) on August 1st.

Adding further interest to the story, Michael joins his son Victor Cullen on the SEAT Supercup Ireland grid, with Victor currently leading the championship after a strong start to the season.

Michael is no stranger to the series, having competed as a championship contender in the inaugural season of SEAT Supercup Ireland back in 2015. One of Ireland’s most experienced and successful race drivers, he returns with an impressive list of championship titles across Irish motorsport.

Speaking ahead of his return, Michael said:

“I’m really looking forward to getting back out in the SEAT Supercup car again. The championship has grown massively since the early years and the standard is incredibly competitive now. Racing alongside Victor will make it even more special and I’m excited to work with Morgan and the MCP team for the upcoming rounds.”

Michaels return adds even more strength and experience to an already highly competitive grid as the championship heads into Round 3 at Mondello Park’s National circuit configuration, a layout well known for ultra-close racing throughout the field.
