SEAT Supercup Ireland Announces Exciting Prize Fund 2025 Season

The highly anticipated SEAT Supercup Ireland supported by Johnstown Estate & Trim Castle has unveiled its prize fund structure for the upcoming season, ensuring thrilling competition for both seasoned drivers and newcomers. With a total prize fund of €10,000, the championship is set to deliver exciting action and ultra-competitive battles on the track.

The Newcomers’ Cup category is designed to encourage fresh talent and provide a competitive platform for those new to the championship. The Newcomers’ Cup is open to drivers who have never competed in a SEAT Supercup Ireland event or have participated in a maximum of two events since the series’ introduction in 2016. SEAT Supercup Ireland boasts a substantial €10,000 cash prize fund, with the Newcomers’ Cup receiving priority in prize distribution. The prize breakdown for newcomers is as follows:

• 1st Prize: €5,000
• 2nd Prize: €3,000
• 3rd Prize: €2,000

However, the full €10,000 prize fund will only be allocated to the Newcomers’ Cup if there are at least four competitors that race at over 75% of the events.

Should the full €10,000 prize fund not be awarded in the Newcomers’ Cup, the remaining balance will be distributed among the top three finishers in the overall championship standings as follows:

• 1st Place: 50%
• 2nd Place: 30%
• 3rd Place: 20%

With this exciting prize structure, the SEAT Supercup Ireland continues to showcase itself as one of the premier Motorsport Ireland racing championships. As the countdown to the season begins, competitors and fans can look forward to another thrilling championship packed with action!
